How Heata works
Cloud access nodes
Clients connect to Heata via cloud-hosted access nodes. These are always on and are where control planes and orchestration live. Your Kubernetes API (if enabled), VPN endpoints, and management interfaces all run here.
Redundancy
The underlying Heata network has full control plane redundancy in cloud. We can extend your own control plane to 3+ nodes if high availability is required for your service.
Workers
This is where the heat is captured. Heata worker nodes are ephemeral, handling discrete requests, tasks and jobs. Nodes are added and removed as needed; no single worker is critical. If a worker goes offline, workloads redistribute across the fleet automatically.

Our SLA promises requested worker capacity. If a unit goes offline, workloads redistribute across the fleet. See our Standard SLA for details.
Security
WireGuard VPNs and full VM isolation provide enterprise-grade security at every layer — encrypted traffic, hardware-backed boot security, and per-client network separation. See our security overview for headlines; full security documentation is available under NDA.
Terms and Conditions
Our Terms and Conditions apply to all use of the heata Cloud Platform, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If you have entered into a separate written agreement with Heata governing your use of the platform, the terms of that agreement shall take precedence over these Terms and Conditions to the extent of any conflict.
